Ross Stores Sr. Full Stack Engineer CTH - 6 months w/extension USC and Genuine GC only. Tue-Thur, Hybrid onsite in Dublin, CA Project Description Modernize a legacy, Oracle-heavy platform (ADF UI + backend) to a modern Angular + Spring Boot architecture. Accelerate delivery using AI-assisted development (GitHub Copilot). Support a strategic rebuild moving ownership in-house, with potential contract-to-hire conversion. Duties/Day to Day Overview Rebuild legacy UI from ADF into Angular using reverse-engineered artifacts Develop backend services in Spring Boot from existing business logic and schemas Design and consume REST APIs aligned to OpenAPI contracts Work heavily with Oracle SQL and legacy data models Collaborate daily with frontend/backend peers for full-stack delivery Use Copilot for code generation, refactoring, and acceleration Write unit, integration, and E2E tests (Jest, Playwright, backend testing) Participate in technical reviews and modernization decisions Top Requirements (Must haves) Strong Angular (modern versions; version number not important) Strong Java + Spring Boot Hands-on Oracle SQL experience (non-negotiable) Experience with legacy modernization / re-platforming PI design and REST/OpenAPI experience Comfortable working full stack (not siloed) Willingness to use AI-assisted development (Copilot) Tools Frontend: Angular, Jest, Playwright Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Oracle PIs: REST, OpenAPI I: GitHub Copilot Cloud: Azure (primary environment) Database: Oracle (on-prem, legacy-heavy) Non-Negotiables Oracle database experience Full-stack mindset Senior-level autonomy dditional Qualifications (Nice to Haves) zure experience (cloud-native apps, services) Eventing exposure (Kafka / Azure Event Hub / Mule) RAG, Vector DB, or agentic development exposure Micro-frontend experience
