Our Life Sciences Client is in need of a Senior IAM Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support models for our Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. This role requires expert-level technical, analytical, and communication skills, partnering with internal teams, external vendors, and IT architects to design resilient, secure IAM processes and policies. As a key technical leader, you'll also act as the highest-level escalation point for IAM-related issues while leading large-scale projects. This is a 6 month contract with strong possibilities of extensions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement identity, access control, and governance solutions for a secure environment.
- Produce high-quality technical and process documentation.
- Provide advanced engineering support to automate IAM and compliance across all enterprise systems.
- Guide IAM best practices and ensure proper design and implementation in both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Define technical solutions based on business problems and requirements.
- Contribute to team objectives to drive business improvements and efficiency.
- Lead complex technical projects and mentor junior team members.
- Cross-train and collaborate with the larger InfoSec team and organizational peers.
- Serve as a technical SME, offering architectural insight and mentoring others.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in IAM architecture and best practices.
- Expertise in Delinea, Azure, SailPoint, AWS, Active Directory, ServiceNow, and SQL Server.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, HTML, and API technologies.
- Hands-on experience implementing IAM solutions, with strong knowledge of SDLC best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and time management abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred:
- Experience in process design and improvement.
