Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to manage high-priority IT projects such as the implementation of Microsoft Teams phones and the redesign of SharePoint websites. This individual will manage these initiatives and provide leadership for other projects that currently lack dedicated oversight. The PM will also contribute to maturing the Project Management Office (PMO) by establishing standardized processes, documentation, and best practices.
This role requires significant hands-on experience, particularly with SharePoint implementation, including building new, best-practice-compliant environments and migrating existing data. While a PMP certification is a plus, proven experience and the ability to execute projects effectively are the highest priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Microsoft Teams phone implementation projects.
- Design and build new SharePoint sites, following security and best-practice standards.
- Plan and oversee SharePoint data migration from existing sites to new environments.
- Serve as a primary PM resource for projects lacking dedicated leadership.
- Define project scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables; track progress and ensure successful execution.
- Contribute to PMO development by creating processes, templates, and documentation.
- Assist with software deployment/re-deployment as needed, acting as a versatile IT PM.
- Identify additional resource needs (e.g., SharePoint development support) and coordinate as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience managing IT projects, particularly SharePoint builds/migrations and Teams phone implementations.
- Strong project execution skills, including planning, tracking, and delivering on time and within scope.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a hybrid environment.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies; PMP certification is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Adaptable and capable of acting as a versatile IT PM across multiple initiatives.
- Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check upon hire.
