Sr. Java Backend Developer - 26-01355 Duration: 9 Months Location: Hybrid/Onsite in Atlanta, GA Employment Type: Temp W2 or C2C Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with 7+ years of hands‑on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud‑native development practices. Responsibilities The candidate will work closely with architects, product owners, and cross‑functional teams to build high‑performance backend systems that are secure, reliable, and scalable. Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Build and maintain Microservices‑based architectures. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems. Implement secure, resilient, and high‑performing solutions. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with product, business, QA, and DevOps teams. Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews. Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code. Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience with Java 8/11/17. 4+ years of experience in Spring Framework and Spring Boot. 4+ years of experience in Microservices architecture and REST APIs. 3+ years of experience in Spring Data JPA / Hibernate. Nice to Have Experience in SQL databases. Compensation and Benefits The starting hourly range for this role is $50 to $60. The actual compensation will depend on several factors, including location, experience, and technical skills. The position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
