Project:
Project is primarily for a payment fraud platform and the team is entirely based in NYC. They are primarily running defect monitoring and preventing payment fraud. It's an AWS tech stack, microservices run on ECS Fargate, and everything is written in Java Spring Boot. The team needs a hands-on developer skilled in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices with AWS who will take stories, develop, and push all the way through production. Compliance is a huge part of this role they use a rules engine (Camunda), so exposure to rules engines would be helpful. They deal with a lot of rules changes and are heavy on risk aversion and there are lots of compliance related items so they need to constantly keep the platform compliant.
Skills
- Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Microservices
- 3-5 years of experience (preferably on the higher end because the team is very hands-on and they don't want someone to come in and struggle)
- Python nice to have data team handles the ETL scripts but would be nice if they could help
- AWS ECS, Fargate, Lambda, Code Deploy, Route 53, SQS, S3 buckets
