JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager of Deployment is responsible for overseeing the deployment of telecommunications projects and ensuring that all operational goals and objectives are achieved efficiently and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate activities with stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, implement, and maintain deployment strategies to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
• Lead and manage a team of project managers and deployment coordinators to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with engineering, operations, and sales teams to align deployment efforts with business objectives.
• Monitor project progress and address any challenges or delays proactively.
• Manage resources efficiently, including subcontractors, to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Prepare and deliver project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
• Conduct post-deployment reviews to evaluate project performance and identify lessons learned.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key customers and partners to facilitate project success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in deployment or project management in the telecommunications industry.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive project success.
• Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and technology.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and permitting processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
• Willingness to travel as required to support project deployments.
• PMI certification or equivalent project management credentials is a plus.
