Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to design and implement overhead crane systems, safety measures for foundry furnaces, and provide accurate cost estimates for engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical design, electrical control systems, and project management, focusing on safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crane Systems:

    • Design and install jib and overhead cranes.
    • Ensure cranes meet safety standards and project deadlines.
  • Safety Systems:

    • Develop and install safety guarding around foundry furnaces.
    • Conduct safety assessments and ensure compliance.
  • Cost Estimation:

    • Provide cost estimates for equipment, labor, and materials.
    • Collaborate with teams to stay within budget.
  • Electrical Systems:

    • Support the integration of electrical control systems in equipment.
    • Work with electrical engineers to ensure proper installation and maintenance.
  • Project Management:

    • Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and safe completion.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities to improve systems and reduce costs.
  • Documentation:

    • Maintain project documentation and provide progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 8-10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience with overhead cranes and safety systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical control systems and cost estimation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or certifications (e.g., PMP).
  • Experience in foundry or heavy manufacturing.
