Job Details:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for carefully monitoring the overall quality of manufactured products.
They rigorously test processes and enforce uncompromising quality standards.
The engineer is also responsible for creating detailed documentation, designing strict quality tests, and setting clear criteria for test results. Quality Engineers maintain high-quality standards and decisively address any issues that arise.
They work alongside a team of professionals to ensure that final products consistently meet and exceed customer expectations while optimizing the manufacturing process to be both efficient and cost-effective.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
2 years of Quality or Manufacturing experience
Experience with principals of statistics, calculus, trigonometry, and other advanced topics in mathematics for analysis, design, and troubleshooting in their work.
Proficient in MS Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to read and interpret assembly and component drawings and engineering specifications.
Understanding of problem-solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s) i.e. thought maps, 8D, root cause analysis & Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis.
