Job Description
This person will be be on call 24x7 every 4th week of month | 90% of oncall can be done remotely from home, very rarely need to leave house
Cisco switches & routers, Palo Alto Firewalls
Network monitoring
CCNA, CCNP or CWNA req.
We would also need this candidate to travel locally throughout the Chicago area.
Some exp mentoring junior level resources
Lot of autonomy, no time to micromanage
7+ yrs exp
Healthcare preferred (or other 24/7 environment)
Cisco switches & routers, Palo Alto Firewalls
Network monitoring
CCNA, CCNP or CWNA REQUIRED
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
B.A or B.S. in a degree such as Computer Science, Information Systems or Information Technology or 7 years related experience.
Minimum of 7 years in the support of an enterprise network platform in a 24x7 environment, including platforms such as Route Switch, Wireless and Security.
Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting network infrastructure platforms such as Cisco Switches, ASR and ISR routers, VPN and Wireless Flex Connect.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Experience working in healthcare or other 24x7 environment.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
Current CCNA, CCNP, or CWNA Certification
