Job Description/ Responsibilities
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SDWAN, Fortinet, Cisco, WAN, LAN, wireless technologies, and troubleshooting.
- This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- We are also looking for leadership abilities to handle voice (NatterBox, Cisco & MS Teams) and firewall (Fortinet) resources.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in Cisco Routing & Switching, WAN/LAN and Wireless
- Fortinet SDWAN
- Good understanding on design and architecture
- Microsoft Teams
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage SDWAN solutions to optimize network performance and reliability.
- Configure and maintain Fortinet firewalls and security appliances to protect network integrity.
- Manage and troubleshoot Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Oversee WAN and LAN infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance.
- Implement and support wireless network solutions, ensuring robust and secure wireless access.
- Perform network troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives.
- Monitor network performance and security, implementing improvements as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the network infrastructure remains cutting-edge.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Proven experience in network troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with ITIL v3:2011/ v4 processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management, etc.)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, Fortinet NSE) are a plus.
Certifications Required:
- Fortinet, NatterBox, Cisco & MS Teams certifications are a plus
