Sr. Operations Manager - Food and Nutrition Services Highland Hospital of Rochester, NY – Full Time – New York, NY Job Description: The Senior Operations Manager of Food Service plans, coordinates, and manages the work operations of the food service staff. Primary responsibilities include assigning work to and supervising assistant managers, supervisors and food service workers; establishing and maintaining policies, standards, and programs for the provision of optimal, cost‑effective patient and retail services; monitoring patient and retail services for performance, safety/sanitation and efficiency; maintaining computerized systems, developing the annual budget and meeting budget targets; hiring and orienting staff; interacting with hospital management and professional staff; and maintaining professional competency and skills required for professional practice. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Nutritional Sciences and/or Business Management; Master’s degree preferred. Five years of administrative experience in Food Services, preferably in a healthcare facility; supervisory experience required. ServSafe certification required. Computer experience required.
