You will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, reviewing designs, and integrating with other NG integrated product teams to ensure adherence to, and implementation of requirements. You will actively participate in design reviews, design release, research, plan, design and develop mechanical products and solutions. Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are critical to being successful in this position. Work Schedule The standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience U.S. citizen Must have an active Secret clearance at time of application, current and within scope. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP) clearance Experience performing mechanical design and release efforts on MILCON, major infrastructure/building projects, or Aerospace and Defense programs. Proficient with PDM and/or CPLM or equivalent Proficient with 3D design/2D drawing CAD in NX or equivalent Ability to understand and interpret requirements Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of tools - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word Able to work independently, function in a dynamic environment, and be flexible in changing direction Preferred Qualifications Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly and succinctly communicate complex concepts Exposure to missiles program requirements & with propulsion Proficient with GD&T and ASME Y14.5-2009 Compensation Primary Level Salary Range: $111,700.00 - $167,500.00 Benefits Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
