  • Mentor a group of 3-4 all-star research scientists in a fast-paced, matrixed environment; actively prioritize efforts to align with organizational priorities
  • Deeply engage with scientific literature to understand our therapeutic hypothesis and creatively and collaboratively design drug discovery plans
  • Contribute to scientific strategy and program prioritization as a key member of the biology research team

Qualifications:
  • PhD in biological sciences with 12+ years (or Postdoc with 9+ years) of industry experience
  • Lead from the front hands-on scientist who recognizes the importance of leading by example and the value of doing the science yourself
  • Expertise in the design, development, and execution of in vitro pharmacology assays
  • Strong ability to interpret data in the context of the program, make recommendations with regards to next steps and priorities
  • Collaborative, communicative, and flexible; eager to do whatever is needed to help the team succeed
  • Unwavering integrity, accountability, transparency and respect
  • Deep passion for bringing novel therapeutics to patients as quickly as possible
