About The Role Matter Health is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager, Implementation to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that support organizational growth, operational excellence, and the successful launch of new programs, markets, and strategic initiatives. As the Senior Project Manager, you will play a vital role in driving execution efforts across the organization, ensuring projects are delivered on time, stakeholders stay aligned, and key business objectives are achieved. The ideal candidate is a highly organized relationship builder who excels in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, and has a proven track record influencing and driving accountability at all levels of an organization. Exceptional communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to manage competing priorities with a focus on results are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end implementation and operational initiatives from planning through stabilization and post-launch support. Develop, maintain, and oversee detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables. Drive cross-functional collaboration across clinical, operations, people, technology, finance, and executive leadership teams. Facilitate project meetings, communicate status updates, and ensure stakeholder alignment on priorities and deadlines. Proactively identify, elevate, and mitigate project risks, barriers, and issues impacting implementation success. Promote accountability across project teams and foster strong, collaborative relationships. Support new market launches, operational expansions, and enterprise-wide strategic projects. Develop playbooks, SOPs, and scalable processes to fuel organizational growth. Track project metrics, and provide regular reporting and recommendations to leadership. Continuously seek opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and optimize implementation processes. Serve as a trusted partner to leaders across the organization and support change management initiatives as needed. Success Milestones First 90 Days Gain a thorough understanding of Matter Health's operating model, implementation processes, and key stakeholders. Build relationships across departments and establish credibility with leadership and frontline teams. Take ownership of active implementation projects and operational initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve project visibility, communication, and execution. Within 6 Months Independently lead multiple complex implementation initiatives simultaneously. Successfully support market expansion and operational growth initiatives. Establish standardized project management processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms. Become a trusted advisor and partner to cross-functional leaders. Within 12 Months Lead enterprise-level implementation initiatives with minimal oversight. Develop scalable frameworks to support continued organizational growth. Drive measurable improvements in project execution, stakeholder engagement, and operational effectiveness. Serve as a key contributor to Matter Health's expansion strategy and long-term growth objectives. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Operations, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. 8+ years of project management, implementation, operations, consulting, or related experience. Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives in fast-paced environments. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills. Experience influencing stakeholders and driving accountability without direct authority. Strong executive presence and ability to communicate at all organizational levels. Success working in high-growth, rapidly evolving, or ambiguous environments. Highly organized with keen attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Experience in healthcare, healthcare services, healthcare technology, managed care, or value-based care environments. Experience supporting implementations, market launches, or operational scaling initiatives. Experience in startup or high-growth organizations. PMP certification or other formal project management credential. Proficiency with project management platforms such as Asana, , Smartsheet, Jira, or similar. Consulting experience strongly preferred.
