Looking for a dynamic leader to drive a transformative payroll and time management initiative. The Senior Project Manager will spearhead the end-to-end deployment of Workday Payroll and Time & Attendance, ensuring seamless delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with proven expertise in cross-functional collaboration, change management, and large-scale system implementations in payroll and time and attendance (T&A).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the implementation of Workday Payroll and Time & Attendance.
  • Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, resources, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, including HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and status reporting.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance, standards, and best practices.
  • Support change management activities, including stakeholder communication and readiness.
  • Utilize project management tools to track progress and manage dependencies.
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • 6+ years of experience managing Payroll project deployments.
  • Workday Payroll experience strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience leading Time & Attendance / Time Management (T&A) projects.
  • Strong understanding of business technology and IT support systems.
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, etc.).
  • Proven change management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging leadership teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk and issue management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, or Time Tracking.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment.
  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).
