Sr Project Manager Workday Implementations Apply
Looking for a dynamic leader to drive a transformative payroll and time management initiative. The Senior Project Manager will spearhead the end-to-end deployment of Workday Payroll and Time & Attendance, ensuring seamless delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with proven expertise in cross-functional collaboration, change management, and large-scale system implementations in payroll and time and attendance (T&A).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the implementation of Workday Payroll and Time & Attendance.
- Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, resources, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, including HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and status reporting.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, standards, and best practices.
- Support change management activities, including stakeholder communication and readiness.
- Utilize project management tools to track progress and manage dependencies.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
- 6+ years of experience managing Payroll project deployments.
- Workday Payroll experience strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of experience leading Time & Attendance / Time Management (T&A) projects.
- Strong understanding of business technology and IT support systems.
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, etc.).
- Proven change management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging leadership teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk and issue management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, or Time Tracking.
- Experience working in a consulting environment.
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).

- Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.

- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
