Base pay range $60.00/hr - $77.00/hr Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer (Data Analysis) (GMD/GWS) Huntsville Alabama 35806 Onsite Requirements: C++ Python Active clearance Job Description: The selected Software Engineer responsibilities will include the support of the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the SPA team. This role is responsible for developing data analysis products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/teams comprised of all experience levels. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5 years related engineering experience Demonstrated experience with Python (Python for both SWE & Data Analysis - weapon system performance analysis, writing python scripts for automating workflow, Pandas/NumPy computing) Ability to perform software root cause analysis Experience with Bitbucket Experience with object-oriented programming languages Desired Skills: Requirements decomposition and testing experience Experience with Test Objectives in Missile defense. Individual must possess good communication skills. Candidate must demonstrate ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions. Willingness to assume a technical leadership role if required.
