Mission Statement

Core Responsibilities

  • Process weekly and monthly invoice payments in Oracle for all L&I.
  • Create, update, manage and revise Blanket Purchase Agreements, in partnership with subject matter experts & requestor, for CECONY / O&R qualified suppliers.
  • Responsible for month end accruals and processing of requisitions and receipts as necessary.
  • Work with vendors to establish/update accounts in Oracle.
  • Track vendor contracts with regards to spending, compliance and expiration and interfaces with Purchasing to oversee RFP process with contracts that are up for renewal. Monitor Blanket Purchase Agreements for funding updates, new line items and initiate changes with Supply Chain for review, discussion and implementation.
  • Coordinate any auditing inquiries from internal and external auditors related to payments.
  • Analyze and review processes to ensure they are performed in accordance with approved General Accounting Procedures (GAP) and Corporate Instructions.
  • Responsible for maintaining the security, integrity and chain-of-custody for all documents and support materials in accordance with the CI. This includes Cyber Security.
  • Assist with development and tracking of local budgets for CECONY and O&R.
  • Ability to extract data from Oracle and extensive Excel skills for analyzing and summarizing data.
  • Ensure all PII related information are fully secured, safely locked and filed away.
  • Performs other related assignments, as required.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and three years' experience in Accounting, Finance, or performing budget related activities in any organization or
  • Associate's Degree and four years experience Work experience in Learning & Inclusion using Oracle, processing requisitions, knowledge of Supply Chain procedures, updating contracts, Accounting, Finance, or performing related budget activities in any organization or
  • High School Diploma/GED and five years experience Work experience in Learning & Inclusion using Oracle, processing requisitions, knowledge of Supply Chain procedures, updating contracts, Accounting, Finance, or performing related budget activities in any organization

Relevant Work Experience

  • Three years of experience in Accounting, Finance or related experience performing described functions or five years' experience using Oracle, processing requisitions, knowledge of Supply Chain procedures, updating contracts, Accounting, Finance, or performing related budget activities in any organization. Required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc. At least five years of experience utilizing these programs is required. Required
  • Knowledge of Corporate Instruction CI-510 and CI-320.14. Required
  • Mastery of Excel skills including pivot tables, V-lookup. Required
  • Proficient in Oracle EBS. Two years of experience utilizing Oracle EBS is required. Required
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills will allow flexibility to manage a variety of tasks and meet deadlines, which is also required for this position. Required

  • Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills

Licenses & Certifications

  • Driver's License Required

  • Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
  • Must be able to participate in the Company's emergency management processes and storm plans as required.
