Sr. Tax Accountant

Well established CPA firm located in North Hollywood seeks a Senior Tax Accountant. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will work on a variety of tax returns including S-Corps, C-Corps, partnerships, LLC’s, trusts, and individuals including the preparation of adjusting journal entries, tax projections, and analysis of general ledgers. Critical thinking and a thorough understanding of accounting and tax process are a must. You will have the opportunity to work with clients in variety of industries. Responsibilities Prepare individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary tax returns and review less complicated returns prepared by staff. Prepare adjusting journal entries, tax projections, and analysis of general ledgers. Manage projects assigned to you and mentor staff working on your projects. Prepare compiled financial statements. Manage tax authorities’ examinations, including responses to notices and requests for information. Qualifications Active CPA license is required. Minimum 4 years recent and progressive public accounting experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
