Sr. Technical Infrastructure Program Manager, Data Center Planning Delivery Job ID: 10455608 | Amazon Data Services, Inc. Location: Charlotte, NC (or Herndon, VA, Seattle, WA) We’re seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to oversee data center build projects. The manager will lead cross‑functional and technical teams from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Key responsibilities include: Stakeholder management, collaborating with diverse stakeholders across multiple time zones. End‑to‑end management of the entire data center build scope, from site identification through delivery of server capacity to the customer. Project planning and execution using project management tools and techniques across all phases. Management of capital budgets, resource allocation, quality, risk, and metric development/tracking. Identifying and removing blockers, eliminating non‑value‑add activity, and accelerating project delivery. Qualifications Basic Qualifications 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Ability to work with ambiguity and competing priorities. Understanding of mechanical/electrical engineering concepts. Preferred Qualifications Experience in data center or network capacity planning, data center or network infrastructure program/project management, or related technical fields. Experience with MS Office, MS Project, MS SharePoint. Experience with Tableau, KanBan, Playbook, SQL, and systems integration.
