Sr. Technical Infrastructure Program Manager, Data Center Planning Delivery Job ID: 10455608 | Amazon Data Services, Inc. We’re seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager in Charlotte, NC (or Herndon, VA, Seattle, WA) to oversee data center build projects. The Program Manager will lead cross‑functional and technical teams from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment. The role requires strong judgment, negotiation skills, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across multiple time zones, manage capital budgets, eliminate non‑value‑add activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and accelerate project delivery. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, able to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities, and have a solid understanding of mechanical/electrical engineering concepts. The candidate must apply a variety of project‑management tools, methodologies, and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle and demonstrate experience in core project‑management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting, and metric development/tracking. Experience with MS Office, MS Project, MS SharePoint, Tableau, Kanban, Playbook, SQL, and systems integration is a plus. Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Management; end‑to‑end management of the entire data‑center build scope, from site identification through delivery of server capacity to the customer. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in data‑center or network capacity planning, data‑center or network infrastructure program/project management, or related technical fields.
