Technical Program Associate The Technical Program Associate role is passionate about driving execution, learning complex systems, and supporting cross‑functional delivery across engineering, product, and data teams. This role is ideal for someone early in a Technical Program Management journey who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and ensuring that projects move forward efficiently. The associate works closely with senior TPMs, engineers, and product managers to support the planning, tracking, coordination, and delivery of technology initiatives that power Goosehead’s technology platforms. The Technical Program Associate supports the technology portfolio’s Program Management Office’s delivery by owning portfolio governance routines, milestone and dependency tracking, risk and issue management, and delivery reporting, and go‑live readiness across cross‑functional technology initiatives. Job Responsibilities Support program execution by coordinating timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring alignment between engineering, product, and business stakeholders. Assist in planning and reporting activities, including sprint planning, milestone tracking, and risk/dependency management. Facilitate meetings such as standups, retrospectives, and program syncs, ensuring clear communication and documentation. Collaborate with technical teams to understand architecture, data flows, and infrastructure requirements at a high level. Maintain program documentation and dashboards in Jira, Confluence, and other Program Management Office tooling for visibility and transparency. Support process improvements and automation initiatives that enhance delivery velocity and reduce operational friction. Partner with senior TPMs to learn best practices in Agile and scaled delivery frameworks. Skills Required Communication effectiveness across all levels of stakeholders. Attention to detail and analytical mindset. Adaptability for fast‑paced delivery program. Experience with software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and technical delivery process. Experience with collaboration and tracking tools like Jira, Confluence, Product Discovery, or similar technical delivery tools. Preferred certifications: CSM, CAPM, or PMP. Requirements Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in technical program management, project management, or engineering operations, preferably in SaaS or data‑driven environments. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Exposure to data systems, APIs, or cloud‑native application development.
