With commercial, international and private banking services, The bank helps address the unique needs of innovators. The Bank is looking for a motivated, talented, and experienced Sr. UX/UI Engineer. As a part of the team you will work with stakeholders, developers, and designers to understand the big problems and collaborate on effective solutions. UX Architect will be engaged in every part of the UX process, including user research, information architecture, content strategy, interaction design, user interface design, and visual design. Responsibilities: Identifying user behaviors through contextual research, interviews, focus groups, and facilitation Establishing the structure of a website or application by designing content layouts and navigation Designing user flows and human computer interactions. Create prototypes for new product ideas Developing and iterating through low fidelity and high fidelity prototypes Designing and recommending visual styles and standards Plan and implement new designs Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions Design, implement, and execute quality frontend applications to interact with SBV APIs Use common frontend frameworks (ie Angular, React) to build new web applications and API portals. Develop UI screens, HTML, CSS Participate in the design and planning for new tools and systems Participate in internal and external demos of new capabilities UI/UX design and integration with API platform Qualifications: Experience working in an Agile scrum development methodology Working knowledge of the following Atlassian products: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket and Github Working knowledge of most major frontend frameworks (Angular,React) Working knowledge of ES6, Typescript, and Javascript Working knowledge of NodeJS, NPM, Brew, and other CLI based tools Experience with Content Management systems - Drupal Understanding of key principals of API development & knowledge of web app best practices Comfortable with web focused artistic creation; including but not limited to advanced HTML and CSS styling techniques and graphic design Familiar with basic DevOps best practices and principals for designing and building web apps for deployment Familiarity with API portal and REST APIs
