Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our aerospace manufacturing facility in Gardena, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role requires expertise in industrial electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in a manufacturing environment.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using schematics, blueprints, and testing instruments.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical components to minimize downtime.

  • Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.

  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize machine performance.

  • Repair and replace motors, drives, transformers, control panels, and other electrical components.

  • Maintain documentation of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.

  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform corrective actions efficiently.

  • Assist with upgrades and modifications to existing electrical systems.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an industrial or maintenance electrician, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Experience working with PLC systems, VFDs, and industrial automation controls is a plus.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.

  • Understanding of OSHA regulations and electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces when required
