Sales and Use Tax (primary focus)

• Analyze and file Sales and Use Tax returns for all applicable states monthly
• Reconcile Vertex Sales Tax system reports to the general ledger and Oracle reports
• Maintain electronic files for sales tax returns and customer tax exemptions
• Research and update taxability matrix; assist with sales tax estimates using Vertex software
• Record tax payments in the AP system; evaluate ERP/Vertex efficiencies

Fixed Asset Accounting

• Maintain fixed asset subledger: additions, disposals, transfers, retirements
• Record and reconcile monthly depreciation and amortization per GAAP
• Perform reconciliations between the fixed asset register and the general ledger
• Track construction-in-progress projects through placement into service

General Accounting

• Assist with month-end and year-end close: accruals and account reconciliations
• Support Finance team with reporting and analysis
• Ad hoc accounting duties as directed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 2+ years in an accounting role; sales and use tax filing experience strongly preferred
• Oracle ERP and/or Vertex software experience a plus
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel required)
• Self-driven, curious mindset with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
