Position Title: Staff Accountant Position Responsibilities Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ·Support preparation of internal financial statements and analysis.Including monthly journal entries and key account reconciliations. ·Update cash forecast regularly to reflect current financial status. Monitor and update planned receipts and payments. ·Prepare progress billings for large projects and invoicing. ·Track project budgets and post project wrap-up reporting. ·Support Accounts Receivable collections and credit monitoring. ·Provide backup support in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll. ·Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and provide variance analysis. ·Use a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. ·Works to consistently meet and exceed customer and Belco management requirements Qualifications: ·Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ·Minimum of two years’ experience in accounting or finance. ·Strong interpersonal and communication skills ·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ·Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. ·Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
