KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a well-established manufacturing company in the Brattleboro, VT area that is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their team.

Location: Primarily onsite (with flexibility and potential for 1 day remote once established)

Reports to: Controller

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
• Contribute to financial reporting, variance analysis, and audit support
• Assist with AP/AR processes and transactional accounting
• Support inventory and cost-related accounting activities
• Identify process improvements and help drive efficiencies

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry required
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles
• Experience with ERP systems
• Proficiency in Excel
