Summary:
This role focuses on supporting the fixed asset system by clearing errored retirements, recording month-end journal entries, and facilitating the movement of fixed asset work orders through general ledger accounts. The position requires accounting experience, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, with a preference for candidates holding a degree in accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Process and clear errored retirements in the fixed asset system.
• Record month-end journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with gathering data for year-end audit requests.
• Ensure fixed asset work orders are correctly moved through general ledger accounts.
• Address issues in accounting processes, resolving or escalating as necessary.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 2 4 years of accounting experience required.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Problem-solving and planning skills with the ability to assess and resolve issues.
• Proficiency in multitasking and managing priorities effectively.
• College degree in accounting preferred
