Staff Accountant
We are a CPA firm who has been in business for 80+ years serving the Iowa state with multiple offices in different cities. As a Staff Accountant you will be working closely with client services, communicating with clients, working along side tax & audit staff, and conducting various accounting functions. You will be working on-site with our Waverly, IA team to deliver exceptional client service and ensuring accounting practices are compliant with state/tax laws. Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or similar field
- 3 or more years of accounting experience within public accounting
- Experience with client services, account payable/receivables, account reconciliation, tax preparation, audits, and more
- Experience with various accounting or tax software or similar
- Exceptional communication and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and verifying accounting documents are accurate & precise
- CPA elgibility or CPA licensed (A Plus!)
- Enrolled Agent (A Plus!)
