Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Full Time Chicago, IL, US Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this key position focuses on supporting the financial reporting and close processes, including general ledger and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting monthly close, journal entry preparation, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations Prepare financial statements and reports for management review Prepare bank reconciliations Assist in the preparation of audit schedules during the audit process Familiarity with intercompany transactions a plus Other duties as assigned Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related field Proficiency in using accounting software such as YARDI or similar platforms Working knowledge of Lawson Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping Strong analytical and problem-solving skills If you are unable to complete this application due to a disability, contact this employer to ask for an accommodation or an alternative application process. #J-18808-Ljbffr
