We're looking for a Staff Accountant who enjoys digging into the details, collaborating across teams, and growing their accounting skillset in a stable, well-run organization. This role offers hands-on exposure to core accounting functions, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to build a strong foundation for long-term career growth. This is a hybrid position based in East Butler, PA. Occasional travel may be required and will be communicated in advance.What You'll Be Responsible ForAs a Staff Accountant, you'll support daily accounting operations while contributing to accurate financial reporting and analysis:Perform accounting and financial analysis tasks that support month-end and financial reportingRecord weekly payroll journal entries and manage third-party invoice approvals, including monthly freight journal entriesHandle Accounts Receivable activities such as posting payments and refunds, processing deposits, and resolving discrepanciesHandle Accounts Payable activities including posting vendor invoices, coding vouchers, and reconciling vendor statementsPrepare journal entries, maintain account accruals, and complete assigned balance sheet reconciliationsPartner with internal teams to calculate and validate sales bonus plan payoutsReview employee expense reports and assist with audit preparation, documentation requests, and record researchProvide backup support for key accounting functions, manage documentation, and assist with special projects as assignedConsistently complete assigned tasks accurately and by established deadlinesWhat Success Looks Like in This RoleYou manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently without sacrificing accuracyYou communicate clearly with internal partners and the accounting teamYou take ownership of your responsibilities and follow through on deadlinesYou're continuously improving your technical and analytical skillsWhat You'll BringAssociate's degree with accounting coursework required; Bachelor's degree preferredAt least 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experienceIntermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables preferred)Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilitySolid communication skills and a collaborative mindsetComfort working in a structured, deadline-driven environmentWhy Join Marmon/KeystoneMedical, dental, and vision coverage starting day onePaid vacation, sick time, and 10 paid holidays401(k) with company matchPaid parental leaveTuition reimbursement and employee discountsA stable organization with long-tenured employees and clear expectationsReady to Apply?If you're looking for a role where you can build strong accounting fundamentals, gain exposure across the business, and grow with a company that values consistency and developmentwe'd love to hear from you.***Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
