Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining financial records
• Ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded
• Maintains, analyzes, and reconciles general ledger accounts including bank accounts
• Analyzes and summarizes financial information
• Provides inputs into department’s goal-setting process
• Prepares financial statements and assists in budget preparation
• Supports month-end and year-end closing process
• Develops and documents business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Ensures compliance with GAAP principles
• Liaises with CFO and Controller to improve financial procedures and processes
• Manages accounting projects when needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2 to 5 years experience in Accounting
• Attention to detail
• Mathematical aptitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Proficiency in MS Office and sound knowledge in Pivot Tables, Xlookup and other Excel functions
• Experience in working with accounting software (Oracle Netsuite preferred)
