Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily accounting functions including accounts receivable and accounts payable processing.
  • Prepare and post journal entries related to recurring and adjusting transactions.
  • Participate in the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Manage and update customer portals with required documentation, invoices, and reporting details.
  • Assist with cash applications, customer payments, and vendor invoice management.
  • Support inventory accounting and reconciliation, if applicable to production or manufacturing activities.
  • Collaborate with operations, sales, and management to ensure proper accounting of costs, revenue, and expenses.
  • Provide assistance with audit requests and other ad hoc reporting.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounting function.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of AR/AP processes, month-end close procedures, and general ledger accounting.
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with customer/vendor portals (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, or OEM-specific systems).
  • Familiarity with inventory or cost accounting concepts.
  • Prior experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system a plus
