Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year Company Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic client in Melbourne Beach, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented organization, where you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our company. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, conducting account reconciliations, and providing support to the financial team. You will also be expected to have a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and NetSuite. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely data to the management team. Review all financial statements for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all transactions and documentation complies with company policies and procedures. Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure. Collaborate with the financial team to ensure a clean and timely year‑end audit. Support the financial team in day‑to‑day operations, including data entry, generating reports, and resolving discrepancies. Use Microsoft Excel and other financial software to create spreadsheets and models, track expenses, and analyze data. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. An advanced degree or professional certification such as a CPA is highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a focus on financial statement preparation and account reconciliation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with other financial software is required. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles and procedures. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to non‑financial colleagues and stakeholders.
