About the Role

Our client, a respected organization in the healthcare sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and deadline-driven Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to month-end close processes, reconciliations, and cross-functional support.As a Staff Accountant, you ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency. You ll also serve as a point of contact for internal departments, corporate teams, and external vendors making strong communication skills a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries and account reconciliations
• Execute assigned accounting tasks and special projects with accuracy and timeliness
• Ensure all deliverables meet established deadlines
• Collaborate with internal departments and promote a team-oriented culture
• Respond to inquiries from corporate, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Uphold the organization s Standards of Performance and ICARE values

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting (required)
• Internship or experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with a proactive work ethic
• Professional interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset
