Rooms To Go is seeking a full time Staff Accountant to join our growing team! Duties and Responsibilities: Serves as a key member of the Financial Reporting Team Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, identification and reconciliation of intercompany transactions Analyze trended balance sheets and income statements Propose solutions to streamline the corporate close processes Participation and contribution to special reporting projects including system enhancements, process improvement, general ledger implementation, etc. Requirements: BA/BS in Accounting Must have good oral and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, high level of integrity, ingenuity and initiative The ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment and flexibility to work hours needed to meet deadlines is critical for this position Must have a strong understanding of accrual and cash basis accounting concepts Previous experience working in Excel is necessary Must be able to work in a team, recognize problems and offer potential solutions Ability to work on several projects simultaneously Today, we are over 8,500 employees strong, operating over 250 stores and 6 state‑of‑the‑art distribution centers.
