In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting critical accounting operations. Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review corporate tax returns to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Handle sales tax filings and maintain accurate records for tax reporting purposes.
• Record journal entries and reconcile accounts to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address accounting discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Maintain organized and detailed documentation of financial transactions and tax filings.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.• Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and filings.
• Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in managing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accuracy.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with relevant accounting software and tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
