Staff Development Coordinator
Hourly Salary: $24.15/hr, $50,232.00 annually
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm
Hours per pay period: 80

Job Description:
Spring Dell Center is seeking an energetic and organized Staff Development Coordinator to oversee state and waiver compliance for all service programs. This position will require tracking, designing, coordinating, and delivering training programs that prepare staff to successfully support individuals in achieving their life goals. This role combines administrative oversight of training records with hands-on instruction, including new hire orientation, annual recertifications, and one-on-one staff support. The ideal candidate is confident presenting to groups, highly organized, friendly yet assertive, and comfortable enforcing training requirements while creating a positive learning environment.
Duties include but not limited to:
Design, deliver, and maintain staff training curriculum, including DDA-required training
Coordinate and schedule employee trainings, including internal and external trainers
Facilitate New Hire Orientation and ongoing staff training sessions
Maintain accurate training and credentialing records, compliance tracking, and documentation
Utilize learning management systems (LMS) or training databases
Create regular training and compliance reports using Excel
Provide one-on-one coaching and support to staff as needed
Ensure compliance with Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ) and state regulations waivers.
Set up and break down training rooms and materials
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience coordinating and delivering organizational training
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills; comfortable with small and large groups
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and training databases/LMS
Experience with iCareManager (iCM) preferred
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Full driver's license
Clean driving record with at least two years of driving experience
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
