Responsibilities Design and deploy innovative features for the SellerCenter to enhance the online retail experience Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and fellow engineers to brainstorm and create effective solutions Utilize the SCAYLE platform to manage product and order information efficiently Enhance application performance through strategic SQL Query optimizations Engage in code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality and foster ongoing improvement Offer technical support, and troubleshoot issues to ensure consistent service for users Explore AI-supported features to streamline workflow processes Qualifications Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience Experience with Django 5.x, Tailwind, HTMX, or other lightweight JS frameworks (or desire to learn them) Experience in working with PostgreSQL, Redis, or equivalent data storage Passionate about writing well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code, actively keeping the quality of the code base in check Used to work in an English-speaking environment Fluent German comprehension skills (C1-Level); spoken German is a plus but not essential Nice to Have Excellent coding skills with Python Contributions to open-source projects Experience with pioneering Greenfield projects or in startup settings, adept at swiftly adapting products to find the perfect market fit Benefits Flexible working times 40% discount on our ABOUT YOU online shop Fresh fruits + drinks everywhere Free sports courses & reduced price for Wellpass membership Subsidized public transportation ticket Free choice of hardware and operating system (Mac, Windows, Linux) also for private usage Modern office in the city center of Hamburg International working environment and English as company language Agile work environment and cross-functional teams Dog-friendly office Professional training Company pension plan Help in relocation and VISA process Benefits may vary depending on location.
