Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Staff Pharmacist Float for a community focused outpatient pharmacy setting. This role offers a collaborative environment, operational involvement, and the opportunity to support multiple locations across rural communities.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Pharmacist Float supports pharmacy operations across multiple KVHC locations while working closely with the Pharmacy Director. This role provides direct patient care, oversees medication management processes, supports pharmacy technicians, and ensures consistency in operational performance across sites.

SCHEDULE
• Rotating schedule based on pharmacy hours of operation
• Monday through Friday 8am to 7pm
• Saturday and Sunday 9am to 7pm
• Evening shifts required
• Alternating weekends

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary based on experience
• Performance and operational bonus potential

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide direct patient facing pharmacy services across multiple sites
• Oversee medication dispensing and safety protocols
• Support and guide pharmacy technicians
• Ensure regulatory compliance and workflow consistency
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams
• Assist in maintaining operational efficiency across locations

REQUIREMENTS
• Eligible for Pharmacist licensure in the State of Maine
• PharmD or advanced degree preferred
• Experience in healthcare pharmacy operations preferred (retail or specialty)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to travel between KVHC locations as needed
• Ability to work rotating schedule including evenings and weekends
