Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager III (SSM III), the Staff Services Manager II (SSM II) has full management and supervisory responsibilities over the technical staff, and the analytical and administrative work of Health Program Specialists within the Community Engagement and Grants Unit. The SSM II directs and oversees the current MHSOAC Mental Health Wellness Act Grant Programs, including staff, program activities, and budgets ($20 million annually). The SSM II will also oversee all aspects (budgets, program development and implementation) of three additional programs, allcove Youth Drop- in centers program, and Early Psychosis Intervention clinics throughout the state of California. The SSM II will oversee the staff who monitor and review Advocacy Contracts and conduct the most difficult or sensitive work within the unit.
