Staff Solutions Architect

ABOUT THIS ROLE Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a hands-on Staff Solution Architect to lead the design, integration, and management of strategic enterprise architectures. This key role directly orchestrates the architecture and technical integration of security, networking, and IT environments for our largest B2B and B2C clients—across cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), on-premises, and hybrid modelsand a globally distributed workforce. You’ll be the lead driving workstreams that deliver seamless integration across Apex’s suite of enterprise solutions (security, cloud, on-prem IT, shared services,and more), set and enforce architecture standards, and partner with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are delivered with excellence. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the design and integration of enterprise security, networking, cloud, and IT systems across Apex’s product suite and client environments. Get hands-on with technical design—producing architecture diagrams, integration blueprints, and implementation plans for SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, shared services, and on-premisesolutions. Collaborate directly with major enterprise clients to gather requirements,integrate / reviewcontractual obligations, and create system designsand integration roadmaps that delight clients. Oversee internal workstreams across engineering, IT, security, operations,product, sales,and client teams for successful solution deliverydriving communication across, up, and out. Act as an internal thought leader—drivingarchitecture standards, driving technical innovation, and championing secure, scalable enterprise solutions. Leverage Google Cloud, AWS, Office 365, and other technology platforms toprototypesolutions forrobust, future-proof architectures. Perform risk assessments, design reviews, and security analysis of proposed architectures. Document solutions clearly in Confluence, ensure project tracking via JIRA, andmaintaintechnical excellence through peer reviews and ongoing education. Mentor, coach, and elevate team members and cross-functional partners in modern architecture andintegrationbest practices. QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field;Master’sdegree preferred.Financial technologyexperiencea must. 10+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture, including cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), security, networking, and technical integration across large B2B/B2C clients. Deepexpertisein designing solutions on Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and managing hybrid/on-premisearchitectures. Proventrack recordofarchitectingsecure, scalable, and reliable solutions in regulated environments. Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Architect, CISSP, TOGAF, or similar are desirable. Required Skills & Abilities Strong hands-on experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, security requirements analysis, and system design. Analyticaland strategic thinker, skilled in solving complex technical and business problems. Experience with enterprise project management and documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.). Expert inintegrating SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, as well as designing IT solutionsleveragingOffice 365, cloud, and on-prem tech. Outstanding collaboration, communication, and documentation skills—capable of aligning teams and stakeholders. Superior leadership and mentorshipskills,drivechangeand inspire technical excellence. Proficiencywith Applied AI to enable automation and streamline solution design and delivery processes.
