Powerline Staking Consultant Mountain Plains, LLC is seeking a driven team member to provide electrical consulting services to our valued customers. This role integrates technical skills with a combination of office and field time. We Offer: The opportunity to join a high-performing, family-driven team Competitive compensation based on level of education, training, experience and performance Competitive benefits package including health, vision, dental, Health Savings Account, Aflac, Paid Time Off, a generous 401k plan The stage for personal growth, career advancement and professional development Responsibilities: Ability to learn electric distribution systems and construction design Route and survey overhead and underground distribution electric lines and process service upgrades Have general understanding of distribution systems, their components and NESC Ability to read maps and construction drawings Develop distribution design packet to be submitted to electrical cooperative for construction Prepare utility crossing and encroachment permits Communicate with clients, landowners and government agencies Complete projects within provided timelines Utilize survey grade Trimble GPS to gather new field data and stake out existing field data Utilize TBC, NISC iVUE, Excel, Partner and other client specific software Operate a company-provided vehicle with trailer & UTV Follow proper processes and procedures to ensure safe work habits Qualifications: Proficient computer and technical skills Keen analytical & critical thinking skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail focused, problem solving perspective with ability to adapt to changing customer priorities Ability to work in a professional office setting as well as outdoors in adverse weather conditions Physical fitness required to travers 2-5 miles in one day on foot across adverse terrain Must pass pre-hire, post-accident and random drug/alcohol screening & hold valid driver’s license A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record are required for this position #J-18808-Ljbffr
