MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:

·         Work closely with the set-up lead to help set-up machines, including tooling

·         Operate the machines to run quality parts

·         Perform coil changes, make adjustments to the tooling

·         Work with toolroom, production, engineering, & quality control toward solving technical problems

·         Verify adherence to quality specifications using calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.

·         Record data on production & quality control records

·         Perform P.M. procedures

Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         Knowledge of 5S

·         Strong math skills

·         Valid driver's license

·         Able to understand & read prints

·         Must be able to demonstrate/have a history of being mechanically skilled

·         Die setting experience recommended

·         Able to operate forklift and pallet jack

·         Min 3 years experience in machine operation, set-up, and adjustment of tooling

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

·         Able to stand, walk & bend most of the shift

·         Able to lift up to 50lbs

·         Some climbing, crawling, and kneeling

·         Compliance with all Safety, TS16949 & ISO9000 requirements

Benefits

This position pays $24.81/hr plus the chance to make an additional 8% weekly incentive & 3% attendance incentive each week bringing the pay to $27.54/hr.

This is a union position for our dayshift - Monday thru Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with training on day shift.
