This position will serve as the State Administrative Manager for the Integrated Programs Waiver Monitoring & Federal Reporting Section. This position is responsible for guiding, directing, and overseeing the work of the Section and its contracted vendors, including writing, promulgating, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining, the required Waiver Authority(s), policy, and Federal reporting requirements for Michigans integrated and Dual Special Needs Plan (D-SNPs) models. This position will work closely with and oversee the work of the external waiver audit team and ensure timely submission of the programs Federal program reports. This position will represent the section in crosscutting and strategic projects to meet department goals and objectives as assigned by the Division Director.

Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.


Experience
Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.Education level typically acquired through completion of high school and two years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 14 level; or, one year of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 15 level, may be substituted for the education and experience requirements.The physical location of this position is400 S PINE ST; LANSING, MI 48933. Based on operational needs and within established limits, remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.

Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.

If internal approvals have been obtained to support the position as work from home (WFH), WFH language in lieu of an in-office worksite address may be included in the posting language above. If the position is hybrid or has the potential to work from an official in-office worksite, please include the address in the posting language above.


Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely, employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including:

  • A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
  • A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
  • Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.
