Summary
- Storeroom Attendant is an individual contributor positioned within a customer's location to fulfil daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of customer and/or Vallen inventory. They are responsible for maintaining a professional, clean and organized work environment.
- Hours: 1st shift Mon-Fri, 4 am- 12:30 pm. OT is rare.
- Training will be Mon-Fri 6 am- 2:30 pm for 2-3 weeks, training may include 2nd shift.
- Temp to hire.
- Need someone reliable and dependable, after training will be the only associate arriving at 4 am.
- Mechanical aptitude is helpful for this position. Ability to identify parts/tools.
- Computer skills are a required component for success in this position. Will use Excel catalog to search for parts. Need to be able to learn 2 ERP systems and to keep inventory correct in the storeroom.
- Customer service skills are required. This is a customer facing position.
- Will issue parts to customers.
- Will assist with cycle counting and inventory.
- May use a pallet jack.
- Will stock POU area's with janitorial supplies and vending machines with small tools and PPE materials.
- Steel toe shoes with internal metatarsals are required.
- Will assist with other projects as needed.
- May lift up to 50# on occasion unassisted.
