You’ll act as a trusted partner to suppliers & members, bringing new offerings to market, telling a compelling value story, and expanding participation, while also managing the full contract lifecycle from opportunity identification through performance optimization.The Strategic Sourcing Manager plays a highly visible role, working cross-functionally to align supplier capabilities with member needs, uncover growth opportunities, and deliver measurable value through strong partnerships.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and strategically position a supplier portfolio to drive value and encourage supplier participationIdentify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers aligned with member needs and purchasing trendsBuild and maintain strong supplier relationships while actively promoting supplier products and services to membersManage the full contract lifecycle, including market research, RFPs, bid processes, evaluations, and contract awardsMonitor supplier and contract performance using data-driven insightsCollaborate cross-functionally to expand and evolve contract offerings in response to changing member needsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related fieldAt least 2 years of experience in consultative sales, strategic sourcing, procurement, or contract management involving goods and services across multiple categoriesProven ability to build, grow, and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships through standout service and trusted-advisor engagementHighly skilled in consultative selling, with the ability to tell compelling stories, articulate value, and influence decisions through insight-driven conversationsResults-oriented and motivated by goals, challenges, and measurable outcomesMCPPO certification preferred (or willingness to obtain with organizational support)Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteThrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, fully in-office environment and values face-to-face partnershipThis Strategic Sourcing Manager role is a unique opportunity to own a portfolio like a book of business, drive real growth through strategic partnerships, and make a visible impact in a mission driven organization.
