Summary:
-
Join the Dynamic Components Structures group to ensure the structural integrity of blades, rotors, and transmission/drive systems for next-generation vertical lift aircraft.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance cutting-edge aviation technology.
-
Perform structural analysis (conceptual, preliminary, detailed) using classical methods and FEA software (ANSYS).

Calculate Margins of Safety and conduct fatigue analysis for metallic and composite structures.

Conduct modal, buckling, crack propagation, and thermal analyses.

Collaborate with Design, Materials & Process, and Test Engineers.

Prepare structural substantiation reports for drawing releases and certification efforts.
Required Skills:

Proficiency in structural FEA using ANSYS.

Strong understanding of loading, dynamics, and mechanical assemblies.

Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Proven ability to manage complex tasks and meet objectives.

U.S. Citizenship due to program requirements.
