PAY RATE: Up to $85.00 per hour

Summary:

• Join the Dynamic Components Structures group to ensure the structural integrity of blades, rotors, and transmission/drive systems for next-generation vertical lift aircraft.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance cutting-edge aviation technology.

• Perform structural analysis (conceptual, preliminary, detailed) using classical methods and FEA software (ANSYS).

• Calculate Margins of Safety and conduct fatigue analysis for metallic and composite structures.

• Conduct modal, buckling, crack propagation, and thermal analyses.

• Collaborate with Design, Materials & Process, and Test Engineers.

• Prepare structural substantiation reports for drawing releases and certification efforts.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in structural FEA using ANSYS.

• Strong understanding of loading, dynamics, and mechanical assemblies.

• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Proven ability to manage complex tasks and meet objectives.

• U.S. Citizenship due to program requirements.
