Summary:
-
Lead development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish system design.
-
Coordinate with engineering teams to define the product's environment.
-
Guide product design and verify structural integrity using and developing analytical methods, FEM models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.

Lead development of test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze/report test results to ensure systems and components meet requirements.

Define and document certification and test results to substantiate that requirements are satisfied for customers and regulatory agencies.

Support in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements.

Develop analytical tools and processes to improve effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of development efforts.

Work under minimal direction in a non-managerial, non-leadership role with regular and predictable attendance.
Required Skills:
-
Typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or related fields, with 9+ years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., PhD + 4 years, Master's + 7 years).
