Summary:

• Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements for system design

• Coordinate with engineering teams to define the product environment

• Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models, and simulations

• Develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and ensure compliance with specifications

• Define and document certification and test results for regulatory approval

• Investigate failures in in-service products and recommend improvements

• Work under general direction in a non-managerial, non-leadership role

• Regular and predictable attendance required

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry

• Typically 5+ years of relevant experience

• ABET accreditation preferred but not required
