Summary:

• Plans and organizes structural analysis to ensure compliance with integrity and stability requirements.

• Develops and documents structural requirements, coordinates with engineering teams, and guides product design.

• Verifies structural integrity through analytical methods, FEM models, and simulations, ensuring product performance.

• Works with customers and regulatory agencies to define certification processes and approves results.

• Develops test plans, supports execution, and analyzes test results to confirm systems meet specifications.

• Drives efficiency with improved processes and explores emerging technologies for future designs.

• Works under consultative direction in a non-managerial role with regular attendance required.

Required Skills:

• Typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics, etc.) and 14+ years of related work experience or equivalent (e.g., PhD + 9 years, Master's + 12 years).

• Classical Hand Analysis

• Primary Structure

• FEM experience

• Aircraft stress/structural analysis

• Integrated design and layout development

Desired Skills:

• Primary Aircraft Structure experience

• Aerospace experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with Commercial Derivatives (737, 747, 757, 777)

• ABET-accredited programs are preferred.
